2024
Overview
-2024 was where it all started, the year I stepped into the world of composition and poster design. My mindset was basic but genuine: glowing lights made me happy, and that love for experimenting with detail became the foundation of what I’m best known for today.
The Challenge
-Everything was new.
I came from a community of making social banners, simple, formulaic, “what works” kind of designs.
Their process was stale and repetitive for me, it made me think that the only way up was by selling as many banners as you could and always appealing to everyone.
The Solution
-When the inspiration came to make a poster, where it was my world, my ideas, my direction, it all felt natural…
And I eventually fell in love with this new expressive process.
There wasn’t one clear direction, I just followed what felt right and had fun with it.
I was like a kid on Christmas Eve playing with their new toy, "Big epic glow here! WOOHOO!! Cool awesome monster there!! YEAAH!!!"
The Result
-This new process felt like shackles falling off, being able to explore without the confines of a client or a meta. It transformed me from just a designer to... me.
