Apparel Concept

Overview
-From the start, this design was always envisioned as a piece that people could wear rather than just view.
The Challenge
-Complex and rich compositions are my main way to showcase what I can do.
But for this, it was the opposite, knowing when to stop. The character needed space to make them readable, so I kept the layout minimal.
The biggest question was proportion: making sure the design, and the golem within it, felt balanced on fabric, not too large yet not too small.
The Solution
-Everything clicked almost immediately.
The visual chemistry between the character, the butterflies, and the text felt natural. From there, color grading and lighting were used to breathe life into the artwork.
The phrase “That’s just how I roll” is a nod to this little stone golem who literally turns into a ball, and his "gentle giant" nature.
The Result
-This project showcases the versatility of my ideas very well. The process taught me how to work effectively within confined spaces and still create something joyful. Having to adapt to a new form of creative expression was also a really fun experience.
